Sunday Schedule
Worship
Children are welcome in worship with their families every Sunday morning. Mid-way through the service, K–2nd graders will be invited to go with our children's ministry staff to hear a more child-friendly message during the sermon time. Always as an option for families, nursery care is provided for infants to age 4.
Sunday School
At 9:30 am, Sunday School classes are held for 3- and 4-year olds as well as K–5th graders in age-appropriate classrooms. Westbury UMC's devoted teachers plan activities based on a well-rounded curriculum that aims to introduce children to all 66 books of the Bible throughout their grade-school years in the children's ministry at Westbury UMC.
Nursery Care
For our youngest, nursery care is available from 8:15 am to 12:30 pm on Sundays in the Children's Wing. A room for infants, equipped with cribs and a spacious floor rug for play, is adjacent to the toddler room. While in the nursery, your child will be monitored by at least two loving workers, be read Bible stories and play with developmentally appropriate toys.
